These are my absolute favorite cookies for several reasons! They can be prepared in stages, making them perfect for a busy mom, they yield a large batch of 73, and the dough freezes beautifully for convenient baking later.

Ingredients:
- 4 ½ cups flour (measured correctly)
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 1 ½ cups butter (room temperature)
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 1 bag small chocolate chips
- 4 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
*In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch until well combined.

*In a separate large bowl, beat butter until creamy, add brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy. Gradually add milk and vanilla, mixing until smooth.

*Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, using a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl, mix until just combined.

*Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

*Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

*Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
*Scoop dough into balls (about 1.5 tablespoons or 25 grams each) and place them on the prepared baking sheets.

*Lightly press down each dough ball with a wet fork to flatten slightly.

*Bake for 9-11 minutes. Avoid overcooking—look for golden edges, as they’ll firm up to a chewy texture as they cool.

Notes and Tips:
-The butter is key to the cookie’s texture—blend it until creamy, not whipped, for the perfect consistency.
-Dip the fork in cold water between presses to prevent the dough from sticking.
-Since this is an eggless recipe, feel free to sneak a sweet buttery dough ball before baking! 😄
-Prep the dry ingredients, wet mixture, and sugars in advance to streamline mixing during a quick break between nursing or naps.

-To use frozen dough place in the fridge the night before or leave it on the countertop for 1-2 hours until soft enough to press down with a fork.
-Freeze dough balls in zip-lock bags for a thoughtful gift—other busy moms will love the fresh-baked cookie aroma at home!

Enjoy!
